About Us

CHESTNUT TREE LEARNING supports kindergartens and early childhood educators by providing easy-to-use programming materials, curricula, and instructor support.

Our mission is to make early programming education fun, simple, and accessible, even for teachers with no programming experience. We help children build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence through playful, hands-on learning.

Using ScratchJr, a visual programming app developed by MIT Media Lab, children create animations and games without reading skills or internet access. Lessons are intuitive, engaging, and designed especially for young learners.

Our programs have been introduced in kindergartens across Nagano, Tokyo, Toyama, and Aichi, and continue to grow in response to increasing demand. Along with child-friendly textbooks and workbooks, we provide clear teacher guides and training so educators can teach with confidence.
